Meet Cindy

Supervised by: Mark Cagle LPC-S #71799

A woman with shoulder-length blonde hair wearing a blue shirt, smiling, with a light blue background.

My name is Cindy, I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and love to give back to my community. I am a licensed mental health counselor practicing in Texas and New Mexico. I obtained my Master of Arts with honors in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western NM University. I worked in a community mental health setting for two years which has provided me experience with a diverse clientele.

I became a therapist because I understand how deeply life’s experiences can shape the way we see ourselves and relate to others. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns of worry, sadness, or self-doubt that keep them from living the life they want. Others carry the invisible weight of past pain or trauma and are unsure how to begin healing.

My passion is helping people make sense of their stories—understanding not just what they’re feeling, but why. Together, we look at the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, explore where they come from, and learn new ways to respond that support healing and growth. Alongside this deeper exploration, I integrate practical, evidence-based tools to help you manage anxiety, challenge negative thought patterns, and build coping skills you can use every day.

I specialize in working with individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as those struggling with grief, codependency, or life transitions. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and empowering—a place where you can reconnect with your inner strength, gain clarity, and move toward a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
