Meet Cindy
Supervised by: Mark Cagle LPC-S #71799
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. Truly.
My path to this work is woven with both professional, lived experience and deep personal loss. I am a suicide loss survivor myself. I lost my own child to suicide. And that loss reshaped everything I thought I knew about grief, love, and what it means to keep living when your world has shattered.
Because of this, I don’t meet you from a distance.
I meet you heart-to-heart.
Parent to parent.
Human to human.
I know the silence after the door closes.
I know the weight of unanswered questions.
I know the way grief can take your breath away and change your body.
And I know the courage it takes to reach out for support when you feel you barely have the strength to get through the day.
My work is not about fixing you because you’re not broken. It’s about offering a space where your grief can soften enough to let you breathe. A space where you don’t have to protect others from your pain. A space where your child’s name or loved one is honored, your story is respected, and your healing unfolds gently, in its own timing.
I believe in transformation, not the kind that rushes or erases your grief. The kind that slowly helps you emerge from the darkest places with new steadiness, new softness, and, eventually, new strength.
This is the heart behind From Cocoon to Confidence. My belief is that you can grow into a life that holds both your love and your loss. I will work with you from a trauma informed approach implementing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, reliving exposure, somatic emotional processing, and narrative work. We will foster future goals and connections from peer groups and family.
You’re not alone here.
I’m with you every step of the way.
Warmly,
Cindy
